Jill started Matrex in 1987 with a home equity loan and a passion for quality and excellent client service. Since then, she has grown Matrex into the largest woman-owned exhibit agency in the U.S.

Jill is a frequent guest speaker and has been honored numerous times as an entrepreneur and successful business woman. Jill has served on the board of DuPage County Habitat for Humanity, and DePaul University Coleman Entrepreneurship Center and is a member of The Committee of 200. In her spare time, Jill is an extreme skier. The bigger the mountain, the better.

Jeff Foulk

Design Director

Jeff is employee number two at Matrex. With Matrex since its inception in 1987, Jeff has more than 25 years of experience including product, graphic and exhibit design.

Over the years Jeff’s management responsibilities have included business development, marketing, IT and PerformanceScience. Jeff is a graduate of Detroit’s College of Art and Design. When you see Jeff, ask him about his new grandson.

Tom Montalbano

Before joining Matrex in 2005, Tom had 20 years of experience in public accounting and private industry auditing and accounting.

Tom’s a CPA and spent seven years with a Big Six firm serving clients in manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Tom has additional expertise in SEC reporting and systems implementation in companies ranging from $20M to $500M in revenues. He’s a graduate of Purdue University and is trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt. He’s an avid sports fan. Any sport, all seasons.

Eric Gavine

For over 15 years, Eric has been committed to supporting client marketing teams that manage multi-million dollar exhibit and event programs including corporate trade shows, staged events, multi-city tours and new product launches.

As a foundation to his current sales and management roles, Eric has degrees in both industrial and graphic design. An energetic leader, Eric constantly encourages his team to re-think what we do and strive for better results. When he’s able to get away, you’ll find him at the beach, on a boat or 60 feet under water.
